Firstly, before i get into what I'm planning on talking about, I think I should introduce myself and tell you a bit about me. My name is Chloe Johnson, I'm nineteen and live in burleigh heads. I am into my second semester of my first year at university and am enrolled in a bachelor of communication. I'm planning to major in journalism and public relations, however not quite sure yet which career i prefer from the two. I took a year off after year twelve, in order to work full time and to also figure out what degree I wanted to do. I'm finding my study interesting so far (although did enjoy the long holiday break after a somewhat stressful end to last semester due to my high level of procrastination) however this first tute today for new communication technology (which is a pre-request for my majors) has definitely taught me the most new things out of all my classes so far. I had no idea how to even turn a mac computer on, let along operate one, so with our tutor lauren telling us "once you use mac u never go back" I'm looking forward to loosing this foreign and lost feeling like I'm my grandma trying to text message. Additionally, setting up this blog has definitely been a new experience and made for an inviting and intriguing start to this subject!
